The most common cosmetic requests we hear are whitening a smile that has yellowed, closing a small chip or gap, and evening out an uneven front tooth. Most of these we can address in one or two visits without touching healthy tooth structure. We start with the smallest, most reversible option that gets the result you want.

Ways to brighten up.

Teeth whitening

Take-home trays custom-fit to your bite. A gentler, more predictable brightness change than one-hour in-office bleaching, and it lets you control the pace.

More on whitening

Cosmetic bonding

Tooth-colored resin sculpted onto a tooth to close a small chip, smooth a rough edge, or fill a narrow gap. Usually one visit. Reversible. Comfortable.

Smile touch-ups

Small refinements that make a visible difference. We recommend the smallest change first, not the biggest, and only when it fits what you want.

Consults with zero pressure.

Before recommending anything, we listen to what you actually want to change. Sometimes a simple whitening does more than a full smile makeover. Sometimes the tooth you dislike is easier to fix than you think. Occasionally, we tell you that leaving it alone is the best option.

Every cosmetic consult includes intraoral photos so you can see what we see, a plain-language discussion of options, and a written estimate before you decide.

What we won’t do.

Some cosmetic treatments are best referred to specialists. If you’re interested in porcelain veneers, complex smile design, or full-mouth reconstruction, we’ll discuss your options honestly, including specialty referrals when they fit better. If you’re thinking about orthodontic changes, ask us and we’ll explain what is available.

We’ll not talk you into a bigger plan than what you actually want.

Who you’ll see.

Insurance, minus the headache.

  • Most PPO plans welcome. We check your benefits before your visit, including deductible and remaining yearly maximum.
  • A written estimate first. For anything beyond a routine preventive visit, you see what insurance is expected to pay and what you owe before we begin.
  • We file the claim. You don’t need to send anything to your carrier yourself.
  • No insurance? No problem. We explain costs up front. Our membership plan covers routine care for one yearly fee, and CareCredit or Cherry financing can help with larger treatment.

Not sure what your plan covers?

Call with your carrier name and member ID. We’ll tell you what to expect before you book. Heads up: we don’t participate in most DHMO or Medi-Cal dental plans.

Common questions

How much does teeth whitening cost?
Take-home whitening trays typically range around a few hundred dollars depending on what your case needs. Ask at your visit for a specific estimate.
Will whitening damage my teeth?
Used as directed, professional take-home whitening doesn’t damage enamel. Some patients experience temporary sensitivity, which usually resolves within a few days of finishing treatment. We adjust concentration and timing if sensitivity comes up.
How long does bonding last?
With normal care, cosmetic bonding typically lasts several years before touch-up or replacement. Bonding isn’t as durable as porcelain, but it is less invasive and easier to redo.
Do you offer veneers?
Please call us to discuss your specific case. We evaluate each situation and either provide the care in-house or explain your options.
Does insurance cover cosmetic dentistry?
Most dental insurance doesn’t cover purely cosmetic treatment. Some restorative work that also improves appearance may qualify. See our insurance and payment page for details, or ask us for a written estimate before you decide.
What is dental bonding?
Bonding uses tooth-colored resin to repair small chips, close small gaps, or reshape a tooth. It’s usually done in one visit with little or no numbing. See dental bonding.
Where should I start if I want to change my smile?
Start with a consultation. Tell us what bothers you when you look in the mirror. We check your teeth and gums first, then explain options from simplest to most involved, with costs, so you can decide at your own pace.
Will I know the cost before treatment, and when do I pay?
Yes. Before any treatment beyond your exam and cleaning, you get a written plan with a cost estimate. If you have insurance, we check your benefits first and file the claim for you. Your portion is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, major credit cards, and financing through CareCredit or Cherry for larger treatment. See insurance and payment.
